As a Sunflower.....

                                                     Like the Sunflower
                                                     Many flowers open to the sun,
                                                 but only one follows him constantly.
                                                     Heart, be like the sunflower,
                                                       not only open to receive
                                                            God's blessings,
                                                  but constant in looking to Him.

He Shall Direct Our Paths!

At times life can look very uncertain..........
Sometimes the path can seem to be leading in all kinds of different directions.........

I’m sure that most of you have found these places in your path through life as well….

But oh my friends….this never has to be! If we are seeking the Lord with all our hearts, and trusting completely in him….He WILL direct our paths….for He has PROMISED! :)

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

His promises ARE true!

 "Are not God's promises, like the fragrant flowers, growing beside your path on every hand? Will you not let their beauty and sweetness fill your heart with joy? The briers and thorns will only wound and grieve you; and if you gather only these things, and present them to others, are you not, besides slighting the goodness of God yourself, preventing those around you from walking in the path of life?" {SC 117.2}

 "You are never alone. You are never in a place where you have no one to have interest in you. Our heavenly Father has given His Son to die for you. The cross of Calvary testified that He takes a deep interest in your welfare, for you are the purchase of the Son of God, and you are the subject of many prayers." {TDG 184.2}

 "If we accept Christ as our Guide, He will lead us safely along the narrow way. The road may be rough and thorny, and the ascent steep and dangerous; there may be pitfalls on the right hand and on the left. When weary and longing for rest, we may have to toil on; when faint, we may have to fight; but with Christ as our Guide, we shall not fail of reaching heaven. Christ Himself has trodden the rough path before us, smoothing it for our feet. The way is illuminated by Him who is the light of the world. As we follow in His footsteps, the path grows brighter and brighter unto the perfect day." {ST, October 29, 1902 par. 8}

What beautiful promises! We serve a Father in heaven that cares about every little detail in our lives, He WILL lead us safely home, if we trust Him with all our hearts, and delight in His ways!

Will you be there as we follow our Redeemer as he leads us through the path of stars, as we make our way to the eternal inheritance? Will I be there? Oh we must encourage one another along this path of life, we must pray for one another, for this path is hard to travel………But we have a friend in Jesus who has traveled this way before….He understands all that we suffer through and he is there to hold our hand!

 "For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee." Isaiah 41:13

Will we take His hand?

Let us strive with all our hearts to be there when He calls His chosen one’s home!.... It’s worth it all!
Your fellow traveler,
Cortney
